What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you voluntarily enquire/order our products and services, as follows:
The Performers Club holds information about the Children taking part in our classes and their Parents/Carers. These include:
- The name of the child enrolling onto our class or classes
- Child’s age, school year, school name and medical conditions/notes (no D.O.B information is collected)
- Next of Kin name, email address and emergency contact details
The information we hold is used by us for the purpose of contacting Parents/Carers about the class or class/school related activities (e.g. rehearsal aides, show information and any inter-school show/school fete/event that may involve your children). The information is also used for teaching and emergencies and is passed onto other teachers at The Performers Club and the Child’s school.
Once the current academic year finishes, The Performers Club will securely destroy all enrolment forms and a new enrolment form will need to be filled out for the following academic year, if a child decides to continue classes with us.
With regards to any photos or videos we take, we obtain full written permission from the Parents/Carers of the child in the way of a photo permission form. With all photos we use, the child/children’s full names are never published alongside them.
This information is not shared with anyone outside our company.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to deliver the services you have requested and occasionally to inform you of other products or services available from us.
We do not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside of The Performers Club.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as race, religion, political affiliations or bank/credit card details.
We will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith and belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on The Performers Club or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of The Performers Club; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of The Performers Club, or the public.
We do not share your information with any other third parties apart from our accountancy firm for the purpose of producing annual accounts.
We would love to keep you up to date with other projects and events we are running.
However, to comply with the new law we need you to confirm that you'd like to continue to hear from us. You will automatically be deleted from our database unless we hear from you. If you would like to received marketing emails from us please email us with the subject “Please keep me updated”.
If you do not respond, your data will be deleted and you will not hear from us regarding our news again. You might want to add us to your address book so our messages get through to you. Our email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
